Office of Student Services and Special Education

The Office of Student Services oversees a variety of student support services including Special Education, Early Childhood Education, English Language Education, Health Services, Home and Hospital Instruction, Child Find, and McKinney-Vento services.

Our goal is to provide every student with a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) allowing each student to achieve their highest educational potential through access to the general education curriculum.

Marshfield Public Schools is committed to ensuring that a continuum of services is provided to meet the unique needs of individual students in the least restrictive environment. A team of special education teachers, general education teachers, school administrators and related service providers work collaboratively with parents and guardians to develop educational goals and objectives as outlined in an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).  Services may include, but are not limited to, specially designed instruction for academics, speech/language, occupational therapy, behavior, counseling, social skills, executive functioning strategies and physical therapy.
