Last weekend, 5th grade students at Daniel Webster Elementary School collected school supplies and stuffed backpacks in honor of their late classmate, Danny Sheehan. The group worked together to stuff over 250 backpacks to donate to local students in need! Wow! ππ

The Pan-Mass Challenge was last weekend. It is a 180-mile, 2-day biking event from Sturbrige to Provincetown, which raises funds for the Jimmy Fund.

Marshfield High School 2023 graduate Johnny Pozerski *not only* earned the status of Eagle Scout by renovating the Marshfield Fire Department's 51-year-old Boston Whaler... but he was recently highlighted on Mercury Marine's website, too!

Congratulations to MPSD School Committee member, Lara Brait, on being recognized at yesterday's Commonwealth Heroines of Massachusetts Celebration. The State House ceremony recognized her efforts along with those of 125 women from across the state.
Congratulations to MHS Grad & Eagle Scout, Johnny Pozerski. Today, Fire Chief Simpson, town officials, family & friends celebrated his renovation of a 1970 Marshfield FD Boston Whaler. A great project and a super young man. Nice work Johnny.
The SC honored outgoing MEA President, Sally Marples, for her 32 years of leadership within the Marshfield Education Association at last night's meeting.. They praised her collaborative nature and strong desire to always address the needs of our students and educators.

Governor Winslow Elementary School held an award ceremony on the last day of school. Two 5th grade students were given the special awards--the "Jim Duffy Award" and the "Good Citizen Award"--and joined by their families for the occasion. π€©π
